Une vraie réussite que ce SIB+ et on peut saluer le travail du développeur pour la qualité visuelle et fonctionnelle de ce menu Démarrer.


   


Je pense qu'il ne fera pas de version finale avant au moins Octobre, sauf évidemment si la RTM venait à fuiter dans les semaines qui viennent.

Il y a encore des soucis de comportement avec la touche Windows sur les pré-RTM... mais aucun problème avec la fonction "Show eveything at once" sur la Preview 9431:

   

Donc autant prendre son temps en attendant que le code de 8.1 soit finalisé.

Je suis de ceux qui ont été emballés par cet outil.
J'ai acquis la version avec licence à vie.
Et tant mieux si beaucoup de monde fait la même chose.

Bonjour Nardino, oui oui, je m'en suis bien sûr acheté une botte de 5 afin d'installer sur mon PC tour quand je le passerai sur Win8, pour avoir le même système sur mes 2 PC, et aussi sur les PC des enfants et d'amis qui trainent encore de vieux XP qui commencent à s'essouffler... et qui vont un jour ou l'autre passer à Win8.

C'est ce qui s'appelle passer du coq à l'âne... entre 8.1 et tout le reste.

Donc voici qu'arrive la Release Candidate 2, encore tiède d'une publication datant de cet après-midi.

Fixed a lot of issues, including:
- start menu showing on incorrect monitor,
- start button sliding into another monitor,
- start button stucking in pressed / hover states,
- shutdown button Windows Update notify not applying sometimes,
- start button / Windows key not working in very rare cases.

attention c'est en principe la dernière mouture avant la version finale.

Surprise... une Release Candidate 3 a fait son apparition en attendant la version finale.

Release Candidate 4 de ce week-end avec de nouvelles modifications.

- On a touch screen, invoking Shutdown shows 'Slide to shutdown' to prevent accidental shutdown,
- Custom themes support different searchbox / logoff heights,
- Custom themes can be used with alternate start menu skins,
- Start screen shortcut opens it on active monitor,
- Turning off 'Search public folders' turns off file search in Start menu instead of searching user profile,
- Fixed: start menu may not hide when invoking search results,
- Fixed: default start button may not display on 125% DPI.

Pour faire durer le plaisir, une RC5 avec encore des corrections.

- Right pane is properly sized for all languages / skins,
- Taskbar on start screen in bottom position does not consume additional tile row on (please test on Surface Pro),
- After installation, taskbar on start screen is enabled if you're already using desktop wallpaper on it,
- When search for files is disabled, See more results link is removed,
- When search for files and programs is disabled, search box is removed,
- Fixed critical: 'Enable all screen edges on secondary monitors' broke Windows key on secondary monitors,
- Fixed critical: configurator could delete OS settings,
- Fixed: 'Enable top screen edge (snap)' did not work reliably with multi-mon,
- Fixed: advanced start button context menu froze taskbar,
- Fixed: focus moving with keyboard arrow keys could be wrong,
- Fixed: going to 'Advanced' tab enabled Apply button for no reason.

Il semble que la publication de la version finale soit conditionnée à l'ajout de quelques traductions encore manquantes, dont certaines langues d'Europe de l'Est et d'Asie.

La version 1.0 finale est enfin disponible.
